Hunt facing career-threatening injury

Werder Bremen's youngster Aaron Hunt is facing a possible career-ending injury and is unlikely to play football until the end of this season.

Hunt was a bright prospect of German football scoring his first Bundesliga goal already at the age of 18, but only three years later his career is in a serious threat after the player himself admitted he is unsure about his future: "The doctors do not know when I will be ready to play football and neither do I. I tried with some easy individual trainings, but the pain immediately came back," said Hunt who is having severe problems with his knees.

Werder Bremen have had lots of bad luck with their forwards starting last year when Croatian international Ivan Klasnić had his kidney transplanted and is still out of action.
