Russian international striker Andre Ashravin has hinted that he would very much like a move to the Spanish and Euroepan giants FC Barcelona. The most wanted striker in Europe at the moment had earlier said that he would consider a move to Spain in the near future.
The Zenith St. Petersburg has been in sensational form for Russia at the Euros this summer and is certainly one of the best players playing in the competition. Earlier this week the 27-year old was quoted as saying that he would prefer a summer move to Spain to England but now he has hinted at something more concrete.
Andre Ashravin told Euro2008.com:
"I have supported Barcelona all my life. Barcelona are my dream.”
RassHenry (25. June 2008)If Andrei Arshavin wanted to go to Barcelona as well as Barcelona wants him then Alexandre Hleb will be unwanted there. Since, Barcelona are keen to land the Belarusian then Arsenal might land the Russian playmaker at the Emirates. Either, one should be ok for us.
