Toulouse fullback Lucien Aubey has left the club after eight years and agreed on a switch to Ligue 1 rivals Racing Club Lens.
The DR Congo-born fullback has agreed to join Lens after making over 150 appearances for Toulouse in the last eight years. The 23-year old, who can play either as a central defender or a fullback, pleaded to the club for a new challenge and has become the sixth summer signing for Lens following goalkeepers Vedran Runje and Ronan Le Crom, midfielders Julien Sable Fabien Laurenti and Ivory Coast international Kanga Akale, who joined Lens from Auxerre.
The former French U-21 international appeared for France at the 2006 UEFA U-21 Championship and is considered one of the most talented fullbacks in France. Meanwhile, Toulouse also look set to part ways with Swedish forward Johan Elmander, who is reportedly closing in on a switch to Premier League big spenders Manchester City.
