AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has given up all hopes on signing Barcelona star Ronaldinho and firmly believes the Brazilian star will wear blaugrana jersey for many years.
Berlusconi was desperately trying to lure Ronaldinho to San Siro during the summer, but all his efforts to convince Barcelona board failed to convert. Former Italian prime minister said that he will no longer push for Ronaldinho signing, but is ready to wait for a better chance: "Ronaldinho will not be sold by Barca. There are certain players who are only sold for the economic needs of their clubs. But what I can say is that, should there come a day when Ronaldinho is up for sale, Milan will be at the front of the queue," said Berlusconi.
Berlusconi also laughed off rumours which claimed that Milan are interested in a swap deal which would take Kaka to the Nou Camp. Berlusconi claimed he mentioned this possibility "only as a joke".
