Slovenian coach Bojan Prašnikar, who took over at troubled Bundesliga side Energie Cottbus on Friday, believes his team will stay in the German top flight.
Prašnikar's debut in Bundesliga ended with a home draw against Eintracht, even though the Eastern German club were two goals up before the break. Prašnikar, who became the first Slovenian coach to work in one of Europe's strongest championships in recent period, believes he can revive the team before forthcoming clashes: "We played very aggressively in the first half and have been rewarded with two goals. Unfortunately we laid back in the second half and wasted the lead, but I firmly believe this team will get better. Now we have one week to prepare for the next clash and I hope I will be able to get the maximum of this team," said Prasnikar, who will lead his team next week away at Hertha.
