Italian forward Antonio Cassano is set to join Sampdoria, after Real Madrid agreed to let the player go on a one-year loan.
Sampdoria and Real Madrid reached an agreement over a loan for Italian forward Antonio Cassano, who has made it clear that he wants to return to Italy despite tempting offers from England and Turkey. According to Marca, Real Madrid will continue paying Cassano’s wages, while Sampdoria will have to pay approximately one million euros for the one-year loan deal.
The deal also includes a €6m buy-out clause for Sampdoria if the Italian club opts to sign the player on a permanent basis.
