Sevilla clinched a comfortable away win against AEK in Athens and secured their first-ever qualification to the Champions League.
Sevilla sealed an impressive 6-1 aggregate victory against AEK Athens after outclassing the Greek club in a return leg with Brazilian Luis Fabiano scoring two first half goals in a 4-1 away victory. Seydou Keita and Aleksandr Kerzhakov added two more goals in the second half, before former Fifa's Player Of The Year Rivaldo scored the "honourable" goal for the Greek side ten minutes before the end.
Sevilla qualified to the Group H of Uefa's Champions League and will join Arsenal, Steaua Bucharest and Slavia Prague. AEK is facing a tough tie to achieve the group stages in the Uefa Cup, as the Greek club was paired up with Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg.
The game was originally meant to have been played last Tuesday but was called off following the death of Sevilla defender Antonio Puerta.
