Former Dutch international midfielder Phillip Cocu signed an one-year contract with Arab club Al-Jazeera.
The 36-year old midfielder concluded his cycle with PSV Eindhoven after winning the championship last term and, despite speculation that he was to hang up his boots this summer, accepted an offer by United Arab Emirates club Al-Jazeera. The former Barcelona star will join his new club in Munich at preseason preparations.
Al-Jazeera will become Cocu's fifth club, after AZ Alkmaar, Vitesse, Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven.
