Canadian international Dwayne De Rosario extended his contract with MLS club Houston Dynamo through the 2010 season.
De Rosario and the Dynamo agreed to extend his contract an additional two years through the 2010 season. It had been scheduled to expire at the end of the 2008 season. The Canadian is a key figure on the Dynamo team this year, as he was in last season's championship run. He was also impressive in Canada reaching the semifinals of this year's Gold Cup and will be making his second MLS All-Star Game appearance this coming Thursday when the MLS All-Stars take on Scotland's Celtic.
In the official press release De Rosario had this to say, "I'm definitely pleased about this new deal. This is a great organization, and the franchise showed a lot of commitment with this new contract. The fans are great here in Houston, and I'm looking forward to playing in front of them for a number of years to come and repeating what we did last year."
