Former Russian international forward Dmitri Bulykin joined fellow countrymen Igor Saenko in the German Bundesliga, after he agreed on a one-year deal with Bayer Leverkusen.
Bulykin became the second Russian earning his trade in Germany, after he agreed on a one-year deal with Bayer Leverkusen. Bulykin is moving to Germany from Dynamo Moscow, while his salary will depend on his performances, said Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller. The 27-year-old has been capped by Russia 15 times and has been playing at Dynamo Moscow since 2001.
Bulykin is expected to team up with Bayer's biggest summer signing Theofanis Gekas, who finished last season as the Bundesliga's top scorer.
