Slovakian international midfielder Dusan Svento is looking to impress at Premiership club Derby County.
Svento is currently at Slavia Prague in the Czech Republic and has 12 months left on his contract there, though he has linked up with the Rams in for a preseason trial.
The 21-year old scored in his country's 5-1 demolition of Wales in a Euro 2008 qualifying match last October and has won 9 caps so far for Slovakia. He is eager to impress Derby manager Billy Davies in the club's preseason training.
"I will go there (Derby) for a few days and I have to show my abilities on the pitch.
Nevertheless, it is not a regular trial. I am going to undergo some negotiations but the details are only at an early stage," declared Svento.
"I also have to have a look at the stadium, the facilities and to learn about the club. We will see how it turns out."
