Fabio Quagliarella could be joining Manchester United this summer in case English side make an official offer, claimed his agent Silvio Pagliari.
Rising star of Italian football Fabio Quagliarella is currently one of the hottest prospects in Italian Serie A. His price rocketed following an impressive performance in Euro qualifier against Lithuania when he scored two superb goals and helped Italy secure an easy 2-0 win. Striker, who is co-owned by Udinese and Sampdoria was reportedly targeted by several Italian giants including Juventus, but could see his future in England Premier League where Manchester United are keen to bring the talented striker and complete an abundant spending-spree for this summer: "Manchester United presented an offer worth €16,4m for Quagliarella one month ago. We believe that Quagliarella is worth a fee between €15m and €20m, but if we receive another offer from Manchester, I dare say that he will probably resume his career at Old Trafford," said Quagliarella's agent Silvio Pagliari.
23-year old striker born in Naples started his professional career at Torino and finally rose to prominence this season at Sampdoria that co-owns his rights with Udinese. Quagliarella seems unlikely to be earning his trade at Sampdoria next season, as the club can't match offers from other suitors. Quagliarella scored 13 goals last term including some remarkable stunners.
