A group of fans unsatisfied with the club owners started an iniciative to buy their club back from the American owners Toma Hicks and Georgea Gillette. They look up to Barcelona's model in which the fans own the club and also have the right to vote club managment.

The site reported that they are near a staggering £100 million in just four days! They believe a bid of £500 million should be enough to buy the club back and also to build a new stadium which the club needs.

Interestingly, their have been a lot af pay-in's from fans not only from Great Britain, but also from Norway, Ireland and the US.

Correct me if im wrong but isnt this 60 million figure just based on those who have said the would buy a share if the idea came to fruition - the amount of "real" money is still zero.

That is the only way forward to deal with these Americans who are only after making money.

They must go back to America

Forward with L/POOL fans and God bless.

All very well gathering money but the yanks won't sell! Why not raise money, buy players as agents and when its time to sell, sell at a profit. If thats the game, I'm in. They would make lots of money for themselves and provide Liverpool with top class players.

can they stop talking nonsense and use the money to buy a relevent, and important..or blocking percentage such as 21%
and then use the 100 million for new players?
