Flamini is hoping for a new deal before his contract expires this summer.
Mathieu Flamini who managet to force himself into Arsenal first team this season is having his contract with the club expired at the end of the season. While clubs like Juventus are more than willing to offer him a deal, the young midfielder's first priority is Arsenal. "There are talks with the club and I hope everything will work out because I am happy here," he told the Sunday Mirror. "I like English football and I love Arsenal."
Whan aked how he managed to improve his form, and took Gilberto's place in the side, Flamini told: "Hard work. I have done that for the three-and-a-half years have been at the club.
"Now I have my place in the team and I am getting more and more confidence. I am in central midfield and that means I am involved in everything. That suits my style."
