According to reports over the weekend in Spain, Liverpool have succeeded in signing teenage sensation Gerardo Bruna from Real Madrid.
.The 16-year-old Argentine midfielder has reportedly been offered a three-year contract with a promise of training with the Reds first-team and regular football with the reserves.
Bruna told AS: "That was an offer I just couldn't refuse."
The Merseyside club have strengthened the youth squad all summer and the capture of Bruna is said to be a major success as he is highly rated and already drawing comparisons with his compatriot Lionel Messi, who plays for Barcelona.
16-year old Bruna, dubbed the new "Messi" is another bright prospect joining an EPL club from Spanish youth academies, following Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas and Fran Merida, while Manchester United swooped for defender Gerard Pique from Barcelona.
