Spanish club Real Mallorca announced the signing of former Argentine international goalkeeper German Lux from River Plate.
Mallorca already approached Lux during the winter transfer break, but made the transfer official only today after the goalkeeper put pen on a four-year contract. 25-year goalkeeper joined River Plate in 1998 and later became a regular starter in Argentine's U-17, U-20 and U-23 selections, while his most outstanding spell in national team stands for Olympic Games tournament where Argentina won the golden medal. Lux has failed out of favour at River Plate following the stellar rise of youngster Juan Pablo Carrizo, but is determined to show his worth in Spanish Primera Division: "I am very pleased to sign the contract and I am looking forward to start training with my new team mates," Lux told Mallorca' official site.
