Lecce have agreed in principle to sell talented youngster Graziano Pelle to Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar in a €5m deal.
The 22-year old forward is regarded as a future Azzurri star after the youngster impressed in Italy's youth international ranks. Pelle spent last season on loan at Cesena and bagged an impressive haul of 10 goals, but was facing yet another season at Serie B as Lecce failed to clinch promotion last term. AZ coach Louis Van Gaal is a fan of the player and has already tabled a €5m bid for Pelle. The transfer is expected to be completed in the following days as the former Azzurrini star already flew to Holland to complete the medical and put pen to a four year contract worth approximately 800.000 euros per season.
