German coach Horst Koeppel is the new coach of Cameroon national team, confirmed German daily Sport Bild on Friday.
59-year old Koeppel will be the second German in charge of the Cameroon national team after Winnie Schaefer who was sacked after a disappointing performance in World Cup 2006. Former Borussia Monchengladbach coach was appointed to take Samuel Eto'o & co. to the World Cup in 2010 and has been chosen in an amazing coach "auction" held by no less than 78 coaches, that reportedly applied for the post.
