Former Lyon and Corinthians forward Nilmar has sealed a return to his mother club Internacional from Porto Alegre.
Nilmar Honorato da Silva has left troubled Corinthians in order to sign for 2006 Copa Libertadores and World Club Champions Internacional from Porto Alegre. Nilmar enjoyed a brilliant spell at Colorado between 2003 and 2004 when he scored 22 goals before moving to French giants Lyon, where he failed to settle and returned to ambitious Brazilian outfit Corinthians after a disappointing season in Ligue 1. Striker, who was strongly linked with a switch to Serie A side Napoli this summer, has signed a four-year contract with Internacional, but obtained a clause in his contract which allows him to leave the club if he receives an offer from Europe worth 3 million euros.
