Jol given six-match ultimatum

English media reports that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy gave coach Martin Jol only one month to return the club to the upper side of the standings.

Martin Jol is having an agonizing time at Spurs in recent weeks after the London club lost four matches and is currently lying in a disastrous 17th position in the standings. Chairman Daniel Levy is losing patience with the Dutch coach and is reportedly ready to give him only one more chance to revive the team: "I'm not insulted by this request. I will do everything within my reach to make better results and I hope the players still have the same faith in me as they had previously. People were saying that I will lose my job two years ago, but as you see I'm still here. I believe you'll still see me in this position in six weeks," said Jol.
