United States goalkeeper Kasey Keller has agreed to join Premiership club Fulham after leaving German side Borussia Monchengladbach earlier this summer.
Fulham will remain the most "American" team in the EPL, as the London-based club now hold no less than four players from the U.S: Carlos Bocanegra, Clint Dempsey, Brian McBride and Kasey Keller. The 37-year-old Keller is likely to make his debut on Sunday against Aston Villa, since Finnish custodian Antti Niemi is currently out of action after he injured his hand during warm-ups before the opening match: "It's fantastic to be back in the Premiership after a couple of years' absence," he said. "When the opportunity to join Fulham came up it was an exciting proposition that didn't take too much consideration. I know that Fulham already has two quality goalkeepers, but I would like to think that I can add something to the squad in terms of its options, and I am really enthusiastic about this new challenge," said Keller, a veteran of four World Cups who has played 102 times for the United States.
