Racing Santander forward Nikola Žigić is only a few steps from signing a contract with Premier League club West Ham United.
Nikola Žigić is set to leave Spain only one season after joining Racing Santander from Red Star Belgrade, as his agent Ćalasan is currently negotiating a deal with Premier League side West Ham United. Negotiations are ongoing, but according to Žigić's manager the contract could be signed by the end of the week. In case the deal fails through, Žigić still has tempting offers from La Liga rivals Valencia and Villarreal. In any case one thing is for certain – the towering 25-year old Serbian striker will not be playing for Racing Santander next season.
