Cross-Atlantic "sports-exchange" has already seen the NHL matches being played in England and some stories suggest a regular Premier League match could be staged in the U.S in the near future.
The NFL is currently trying to stage a game at London's Wembley Stadium in order to approach the English fans, while similar ideas have been spreading also the other way round. West Ham owner Eggart Magnusson and Arsenal shareholder Stan Kroenke both support the idea of staging a regular Premier League match in the United States as they both firmly believe this would help both clubs on a new exciting market: “I can see that happening sooner rather than later. It would be good for the game,” Magnusson told Sky Sports News.
Arsenal’s American shareholder Stan Kroenke added: “There is probably a good chance of getting a game to go over there because both owners could agree to it. I think there is a reasonable chance it could take place in the future.”
New York is being mentioned as a possible venue of the match.
