Tottenham Hotspur, the Premiership football club, has reported a year to June 30 2007 pretax profit of £27.7m, up from £0.6m, on a 39.1 pct increase in turnover to £103.1m.
The company said its review of stadium options is now 'substantially complete' and a limited number of potential sites have been identified in the London Boroughs of Enfield and Haringey including the expansion possibilities of the existing White Hart Lane stadium.
Spurs also announced the resignation of Paul Kemsley as non-executive vice chairman of Tottenham Hotspur Football and Athletic Co Ltd with effect from this year's forthcoming general meeting.
Meanwhile, Spurs are close to agreeing a new contract with French defender Pascal Chimbonda.
