UEFA Cup winners Zenit St. Petersburg have made a statement of intent by saying that they would let Andrey Arshavin go to FC Barcelona only if Lionel Messi moved in the opposite direction.
The Catalan giants have been linked with the 27-year old Russian international striker and have confirmed that they have formally been in talks with the player and his club. Zenit know that they would have to sell their prized asset this summer but they have now said that they would only sell Arshavin to Barca if they are paid 20 million euros along with Lionel Messi.
