Located in the East End, Celtic Park is now, after extensive additions, the largest football stadium in Scotland and home to Scottish Champions, Celtic FC.
Often referred to as ‘Parkhead’, it is one of three football stadiums in the city of Glasgow with a capacity over 50,000. Celtic moved to the site in 1892 and it was impressively renovated in the middle years of the last decade. The record attendance of 92,00 was set in a game in 1938 played against old rivals Rangers.
